Parioli - Pinciano

Parioli area has always been a synonymous in Rome with luxury and aristocracy. The neighborhood is a bit removed from the historic center but, in exchange, it’s immersed in greenery. It is a largely residential area but you can find shops, and a variety of sports/entertainment centers. Worth pointing out are two recent architectural works: The Mosque by Portoghesi and the Auditorium by Renzo Piano. To cite a few of the better known squares in the area: Piazza Euclide, Piazza Ungheria and Viale Parioli. It’s important to stress that the area is surrounded in greenery; the neighborhood spreads between two Parks: Villa Ada and Villa Borghese. Up near via Salaria there is a famous museum, the Borghese Gallery where you can find works of art from Canova, Borromini, Bernini, Caravaggio, il Tintoretto etc. Other points of interest include the BioPark, or more precisely the Zoological Garden of Rome which you can find within the park Villa Borghese.
