The Bed & Breakfast A Casa di Lia – Home in Rome is in the center of Rome between the Olympic Stadium and Piazza del Popolo, in a strategic and quiet location, only minutes from historic central Rome: Piazza del Popolo, the Vatican, Via del Corso, the Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. In close proximity are Foro Italico, Auditorium Parco della Musica, Stadio Flaminio, Ponte Milvio, MAXXI and Villa Borghese. By underground from Piazzale Flaminio-Piazza del Popolo you can quickly reach the Vatican, Termini Railways Station and the Colosseum. The Bed & Breakfast A Casa di Lia – Home in Rome is at the 5th floor, with elevator, in a lovely penthouse with a typical Roman roof terrace for hanging the laundry, overlooking Rome skyline, in a restored early 20th century Roman building, inside a quiet and safe residential complex with a private park by the river Tiber, without the noise of the traffic: Villa Riccio, an oasis in the centre of Rome. The view is over the trees of the gardens, the terraces and the roofs of Rome. The B&B provides friendly, artistic and sport environment. It is separated by a door from the rest of the penthouse where Lia, her family and pets live: so you can keep your own privacy and feel at home. You will be given the information needed to ensure that you will enjoy your Roman Holidays. Lia speaks Italian, English and some Spanish and French. When you’re back from your tours in the busy and noisy downtown, you can really do like a Roman, sitting on a park-bench under the trees of the gardens, having a glass of wine or a fresh beer in the nearby bars, pub, bistrot and enjoying delicious pizza and pasta in the local restaurants. The Bed & Breakfast A Casa di Lia – Home in Rome features 2 comfortable queen-size bed bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, free WiFi, TV, hair-drier, electric fans in summer and central heating in winter. On request, it is possible to separate the double bed of one room and, if necessary as there isn’t much room,add an extra bed in both guest rooms. Breakfast: Italian continental self service breakfast – expresso, coffee, cappuccino, tea, juice, croissants, toasted bread with butter and jam - is available in the breakfast room, where there is a refrigerator reserved to guests and a free internet point. Check-in: always on appointment. There is not a reception service available 24 hours a day. You are kindly requested to communicate your estimated time of arrival a few days in advance and advice if you are late. On request, shuttle service to the airport (not included in price). Check-out: by 10.00 a.m. If needed, you can leave your luggage and come later to pick it up. Prices: min.50€ - max.70€ (double single use with bathroom); min.70€ - max. 140€ (double with bathroom), depending on low-high tourist season and on commission owed to reservation agencies. 10€ - 30€ extra bed. Credit cards and cheques are not accepted. Cancellation policy: there is no charge if you cancel your reservation up to 3 days before arrival. Otherwise, the cost of the first night. Lia’s pets: you may meet Gordon when he goes out for a walk. There is no problem of allergy to cats’hair, as Lia’s pets stay outside on the terrace.
