Testaccio
Aventino district is one of the most beautiful in Rome, is located close to Circo Massimo and extends over a hill from where you can enjoy a beautiful view (especially from the Garden of oranges "Giardino degli aranci"). On Viale Aventino is the headquarters of the FAO. Also noteworthy is the botanical garden. At the foot of the Aventine extends another historic district of Rome, Testaccio, a very nice area that runs from the Tiber to the Pyramid along and around the Monte dei Cocci (or Monte Testaccio) was born as a dump at the time of the ancient Romans, it is made up of countless layers of broken vases and amphorae. A testaccio there are several nightclubs and many taverns where you can taste the best of Roman cuisine.
